This notice explains, in line with Article 10 of Türkiye’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK), how your personal data is processed when you use the mefezedigital website and send the project brief form.

Data controller

Your personal data is processed by mefezedigital as the data controller. For any question about this notice, write to contact@mefezedigital.com.

What data we process

When you use the project brief form, we process:

• Your name and email address
• Your company name (optional)
• Your message and the services you select
• If you arrive at the form from a product experience, the ID of the product selection you created
• Page context: the address of the page you send the form from, the address that referred you to the site and, if present in the link, UTM campaign parameters

When you send the form, this information is forwarded to our mailbox as an email so we can respond to your request.

When you visit the site, technical connection data such as your IP address and browser and device information is processed by our hosting and video delivery services so that pages and videos can reach you. Site traffic and performance are measured with Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights as aggregate statistics that do not identify you and use no cookies.

The camera effect on the contact page starts only with your permission. Frames are processed in your browser; they are not recorded or sent to any server.

Why we process it

• To review your project request, respond to you and prepare a suitable offer
• To respond in the right context by seeing which page or campaign your request came from
• To prevent misuse of the form and keep the site secure
• To monitor how the site works and performs

Legal bases

Data about your project request is processed under KVKK Article 5(2)(c), as it is necessary for steps taken before a contract is concluded at your request. Technical records kept for security and abuse prevention, and monitoring of site performance, are processed under KVKK Article 5(2)(f), as they are necessary for our legitimate interests without harming your fundamental rights and freedoms.

Who receives the data

Your data is never sold or shared for advertising. It is shared only with the following service providers that run the site and our email infrastructure, and only as far as their service requires:

• Güzel Hosting (Türkiye): the email server that forwards form messages
• Google LLC (USA): the Gmail inbox that receives the messages
• Vercel Inc. (USA): hosting of the website and the form server; anonymous, cookieless traffic and performance statistics through Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights
• Bunny.net: delivery of the videos on the site

Beyond these, your data may only be shared with authorized public bodies where a legal obligation requires it.

Transfers abroad

Vercel Inc. and Google LLC are companies established outside Türkiye and provide their services from servers abroad. Information you send with the form and technical connection data created while you use the site are therefore transferred abroad within the meaning of KVKK Article 9. Transfers are limited to the purposes above and the data those purposes require. Videos are also delivered from Bunny.net servers that may be located abroad.

How long we keep it

Request details are kept only as long as needed to review and answer your request and to meet our legal obligations, and are deleted once those purposes no longer apply. The site keeps no separate request database; your message is held in our mailbox.

Security

Connections to the site and the form are encrypted with HTTPS. Form data is validated again on the server, and misuse is limited through origin checks, rate limiting and a spam filter. For rate limiting, a hash value derived from your IP address is kept briefly and only in server memory. Delivery errors record only a request ID and an error code; your name, email address and message are never written to these records.

Your rights under KVKK Article 11

Under Article 11 of KVKK, you may apply to the data controller to exercise these rights:

• Learn whether your personal data is processed
• Request information about the processing if it is
• Learn the purpose of the processing and whether data is used for that purpose
• Know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom your data is transferred
• Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data
• Request deletion or destruction of your data under the conditions of KVKK Article 7
• Request that third parties who received your data are notified of any correction, deletion or destruction
• Object to a result against you that arises solely from automated analysis of your data
• Claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing of your data

How to apply

Send requests about your rights by email to contact@mefezedigital.com. Please include your full name, contact details we can reach you on, and the subject of your request. Your application is answered within the period set by KVKK Article 13.

Mefeze Bulletin subscription

Newsletter records include your email, selected topics, consent and verification timestamps, and optionally your name, preferred salutation and phone number. Authorized site administrators can view these records to manage your subscription and deliver your chosen content.

Subscriber details are not shared with the Claude research workflow. Email is delivered through Güzel Hosting. WhatsApp consent is separate and optional; no WhatsApp messages are sent before the official delivery service is enabled.

Use the links in an email to change your interests or unsubscribe. Unsubscribing stops delivery; it does not automatically delete existing records. For deletion or other requests, contact contact@mefezedigital.com.
